Business Benefits

Optimize your marketing efforts and increase client satisfaction.

Set up a meeting with your marketing team to assign the main roles of Product Owner and Scrum Master within your team.

Talk to your current marketing team to assign a role for a Product Owner that talks to the client and creates product backlogs. Assign a role for a Scrum Master that communicates with the PO and members of the team.

Ask your Product Owner to talk to the client to identify the main product deliverable and divide them into smaller tasks.

For example, the product deliverable can be a website audit, and a smaller task include a website audit SEO audit.

Catalog all the tasks in a project management software like Asana or a similar alternative in a column called Product Backlog.

Create four columns in Asana titled Product Backlog, To Do, In Review, and Done. Place all task deliverables in the first column and rate them based on priority for the upcoming sprint

Create a sprint plan to decide the completion time, work to be submitted, and what tasks need to be done.

Depending on what the goal of the sprint is, set a timeframe for its completion. For example, the goal of the sprint is to create a website audit for the client. In the current sprint include elements from the backlog that can lead to a successful completion.

Drag tasks from the product backlog into the To-Do section of Asana and set a completion time frame within the sprint time limit.

Schedule a time daily where all SCRUM team members discuss their current tasks via conference call or in office for 15 minutes.

Structure the stand up meeting to cover yesterday’s task, what members are working on today, and any roadblocks they might encounter during the day.

Set up a one hour meeting after the completion of the sprint to share the progress with your client.

All team members need to be present to help the product owner share as much insight with the client as possible. The other members of the team can aid the product owner in clarifying the process and the results.

Create a new plan for the upcoming sprint using the client feedback and set up a new goal.

If there are any budget, framework, or timeline changes, implement them to develop the upcoming sprint.
