Decide which links to embed in your email, like your main website or a landing page for a campaign.
Create and copy the URL that you want to embed in your email.
Open Google’s URL builder tool.
Paste the copied link onto the website URL field.
Input a descriptive name in the Campaign source field that will help you identify this email campaign later on.
Enter Email in the Campaign Medium field and the name of your campaign under Campaign Name.
Fill in the remaining optional fields.
Copy the generated URL from the builder tool and embed it into your email content.
Track the acquisition metrics through your email link on Google Analytics under Acquisition > All Traffic > Source/Medium.
